<p>The present invention relates to steel containing phosphorous (P) having excellent impact toughness, and more particularly to novel steel containing P, which breaks a common idea of causing brittleness when a great amount of P is contained in steel. According to one aspect of the present invention, steel containing P has a composition containing 0.05-0.3 wt% of C, 0.5-3.0 wt% of Mn, 0.05-0.2 wt% of P, 0.1-0.5 wt% of La, and the remaining amount of Fe and inevitable impurities, and has a texture having at least 80% of an area fraction of ferrite and pearlite.</p> |
