摘要 The present invention relates to a method which is capable of improving processing efficiency of next generation HEVC (high efficiency video coding), which is a video compression codec having a compression rate twice or higher than the compression rate of the previous H.264/AVC. Although the HEVC according to the prior art has a compression rate higher than the compression rate of the previous H.264/AVC, the HEVC, since the calculation quantity is greatly increased due to properties of using various kinds of block sizes twice to four times more than the kinds of block sizes of the H.264/AVC and complexity increase of internal calculation, has a problem that the entire area of the HEVC is increased when the HEVC is implemented in hardware. Thus, to solve the problems of the HEVC of the prior art, according to the present invention, provided are a low area and high performance multi-mode 1D transform block which is capable of optimizing a transform block specifically influenced by a size of a processing base block among blocks of the HEVC, which is a next generation video compressing codec, so that the 1D transform block can support all various block sizes while a low area is required and processing efficiency of high performance is provided; and a method of process data by using the same.
