Provided are a device for detecting a blind spot of a vehicle and a method thereof. The device for detecting a blind spot of a vehicle includes a left camera which is able to face the rear side or the down side; a right camera which is able to face the rear side or the down side; a first driving motor which is installed in the left camera and rotates the left camera to face the rear side or the down side; a second driving motor which is installed in the right camera and rotates the right camera to face the rear side or the down side; a control unit which transmits a driving signal according to the mode of a vehicle to the first and the second driving motor; and a display unit which displays images taken by the left and the right camera. |
