PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami attenuation device which can intercept a tsunami, caused by a submarine earthquake and the like, by a net-like object and the like spread under water, and which makes the net-like object and the like easily and efficiently installed on the sea bottom.SOLUTION: A lower end of a net-like object 2 is fixed to first mooring means 3, and an upper end of the net-like object 2 and second mooring means 4 are connected together by a plurality of mooring ropes 5 so that the net-like object 2, and the first and second mooring means 3 and 4 and the mooring cables 5 can be integrated together. At least one tier of impermeable sheets 6a and 6b is attached in a spread state to the net-like object 2, and a floating body 7 is attached to a part of the net-like object 2 corresponding to upper ends of the impermeable sheets 6a and 6b. |
