PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable holding device in which interference between a torch cable and a work can be reduced in a case of welding a corner part of a large-sized frame structure (work) by using an overhead-hanging-type welding robot.SOLUTION: A cable holding device 30 is shorter than the whole length of a lowest end arm 16 (second arm), and is fixed along the side surface of the lowest end arm 16. The cable holding device 30 includes a cable guide 32 for holding a cable 29 supplied from above and guiding it toward a welding torch 24, a slide device 34 for reducing sagging of the moving direction up to the welding torch 24 by moving the cable guide 32 along the lowest arm 16 in the opposite direction against the welding torch 24, and a rotation device 40 for energizing and rotating the cable guide 32 to such a direction that the welding torch 24 side of the cable guide 32 faces upward. |
