PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of restraining a back frame from being greatly twisted without increasing the number of components nor making a structure complicated even when a large load without acceleration is applied to a seat back.SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat 1, a back frame 3 is assembled to a cushion frame 2 via a recliner on one side and free hinges 54, 60 on the other side. The back frame 3 is constituted of right and left side frames 30, 32, an upper frame 34 and a lower frame 36 substantially in a rectangular frame shape. The vehicle seat 1 is provided with a lock mechanism 5 which switches free hinges 54, 50 in an unlocked state to the lock state when the side frames 30 (32) on the side of the free hinges 54, 60 are turned with respect to the lower frame 36. |
