PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer capable of stabilizing the supply of oil by effectively preventing suction of air from a suction port even while minimizing oil amount in a transmission case.SOLUTION: An oil strainer which sucks oil in a transmission case and filters the oil includes a main body case which stores a filter member, a suction port member separated from the main body case, a connection pipe which connects the main body case and the suction port member and has flexibility or retractility and a suction port disposed on the suction port member. The oil strainer is configured such that, when the position of an oil surface in the transmission case is changed by inclination of a vehicle or acceleration and deceleration applied to the vehicle, the connection pipe follows the change of the oil surface and is moved while the connection pipe is bent or stretched and retracted and, thereby, the suction port is not exposed from the oil surface. |
