<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorber capable of efficiently absorbing energy of external load applied from a specific direction at a high level by employing a structure in which ribs hardly buckle.SOLUTION: An energy absorber composed of an injection molding of a thermoplastic resin, and absorbing energy of external load applied from a specific direction, has a plurality of ribs extending from an external load applying portion to a fixing portion at an opposite side while penetrating them, and the plurality of ribs include inclined ribs inclined with respect to an external load central line in a direction to approach the external load central line at the external load applying portion side and in a direction to separating from the external load central line at the fixing portion side, and positioned at both sides of the external load central line.</p> |
