METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING A BRAKE OF VEHICLE

A brake control device for a vehicle includes a weight sensing unit, an electronic control unit, an adjusting unit, and a driving unit. The weight sensing unit is installed in a vehicle and senses an increase in the total weight of the vehicle based on a reference weight. The electronic control unit is connected to the weight sensing unit and includes a signal generation unit which generates a driving signal when an increase in the total weight of the vehicle is detected by the weight sensing unit. The adjusting unit is installed in a brake line through which brake oil is supplied to a wheel cylinder and adjusts the open area of the brake line. The driving unit is connected to the signal generation unit and the adjusting unit and drives the adjusting unit using the driving signal generated by the signal generation unit to expand the open area of the brake line.
