PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that enables accurately measuring a thermal constant of a sample.SOLUTION: A method for measuring a thermal constant of a sample utilizing a thermal resonance phenomenon comprises: a step of determining a mode of thermal resonance to be generated in the sample; a step of generating thermal resonance in the determined mode in the sample by momentarily heating a first part located at an antinode of the thermal resonance in the determined mode; a step of measuring, for a predetermined time, a temperature of a second part located at the antinode of the thermal resonance in the determined mode in the sample in which thermal resonance is being generated; a step of calculating attenuation coefficient on the basis of the temperature change of the second part over time; and a step of calculating the thermal diffusivity of the sample on the basis of the attenuation coefficient. |
