PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method that determines whether or not an electronic device portable by a user, receiving a positioning signal and calculating a location is in a non-translational movement state.SOLUTION: The control method is configured to: perform a correlation calculation to a reception signal of a GPS satellite signal serving as a positioning signal on the basis of a given prediction frequency (a step S1); estimate an error frequency of the prediction frequency, using a carrier wave phase of the GPS satellite signal on the basis of a result of the correlation calculation (a step S3); determine whether the error frequency satisfies a given allowance condition (a step S5); and determine whether or not the electronic device is in the non-translational movement state of moving as changing its location relatively to a body of a user, using a result of the determination (a step S9). |
