<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle a sheet fed from a specific sheet feed tray differently from those fed from the other sheet feed trays at a time of executing a paper purge process.SOLUTION: An image formation system includes: a sheet feed unit; an image formation unit forming an image on a sheet; a discharge unit discharging sheets to a plurality of different sheet discharge trays; a control unit controlling sheet feeding, image formation, and sheet discharge; and a detection unit detecting a position of each sheet. At a time of executing a purge process, the control unit exercises a control to separately discharge a remaining sheet fed from a specific sheet feed tray among remaining sheets and a remaining sheet fed from the sheet feed trays other than the preset specific sheet feed tray among the remaining sheets on the basis of purge processing-time tray correspondence information defined for a corresponding relation as to the sheet fed from which sheet feed tray is discharged to which sheet discharge tray, and sheet information as to the remaining sheets fed from which sheet feed trays.</p> |
