PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a medium feeding device.SOLUTION: A medium feeding device 1 includes: a medium accommodation unit accommodating therein a medium 100; a feed roller feeding the medium 100 from this medium accommodation unit; a first elastic body (sponge rubber 30) forming a first gate G that separates the medium 100 (P) fed by the feed roller from a plurality of mediums 100 accommodated in the medium accommodation unit by elastically deforming; and a second elastic body (rubber 40) forming a second gate G2 that separates the medium 100 (P) fed by the feed roller from the plural mediums 100 passing through the first gate G1 by elastically deforming. |
