<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece barrel which is capable of achieving a high level of rigidity, particularly as regards a ratchet, while maintaining more economical costs than known barrels.SOLUTION: A timepiece barrel 1 is to be pivotally assembled between a bottom plate 9 and a bridge 5 and includes a spring 7, and the spring 7 is housed between a pivoting drum 6 and a ratchet 2 and has an outer end part and an inner end part fixed to the drum 6 and a barrel arbor 3 respectively by hooks, and the barrel arbor 3 can pivot integrally with the ratchet 2 about a pivot axis. The barrel 1 includes a single-piece sub-assembly 10 which is coaxial with the barrel arbor 3 and groups together at least the barrel arbor 3 and the ratchet 2 around a hub 4 in immediate proximity to the bottom plate 9, and the single-piece sub-assembly 10 is pivoted on an upper shoulder 13 in a shaft hole 62 provided on an end part pipe of the drum 6, and an outer shoulder 64 of the end part pipe pivots in a shaft hole 51 of the bridge or of a jewel 52 provided in the bridge.</p> |
