PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low-cost detector for detecting a rolling medium in a game machine for executing game control on the basis of the detection.SOLUTION: A game machine in one aspect comprises: multiple kinds of rolling mediums that mutually differ in light reflectance; a performance area that is sectioned as an area where the rolling mediums roll to a prescribed position in a game area and is provided with a rolling passage for rolling the rolling mediums; multiple reflection type light sensors that are located at mutually different positions around a measuring point set at the prescribed position in the rolling passage, can emit light to the rolling medium located at the measuring point and are provided so as to mutually differ in receiving sensitivity of reflected light with respect to the rolling medium of the same sort; determination means that determines which one of the rolling mediums is located at the measuring position, on the basis of a combination of presence and absence of detection by the light sensors; and game control means that executes game control on the basis of a result of the determination by the determination means. |
