PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device and a projector having improved performance of operation on images displayed on a display surface, and a control method of a projector.SOLUTION: A display control device 10 includes: a projection unit 30 that displays images on a screen SC with the use of image light 43; an openable/closable lens shutter 42 that blocks the image light 43; an open/close detection unit 103A that detects open/close of the lens shutter 42; and a control unit 103 that changes, when the open/close detection unit 103A detects that the lens shutter 42 is closed, an image displayed on the screen SC when the lens shutter 42 is opened again. |
