<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether abnormality occurs to an auxiliary bearing.SOLUTION: A magnetic bearing provides non-contact support for a rotational shaft 400 by an attracting force of a plurality of electromagnets. The rotational shaft 400 is inserted into an auxiliary bearing. A control unit controls a motor to drive the rotational shaft 400 to rotate while controlling the magnetic bearing so that the rotational shaft 400 contacts an inner circumferential surface of the auxiliary bearing by the attraction force acting on a first radial direction D1. The control unit determines that an abnormality occurs to the auxiliary bearing if a value according to a rotational resistance between the rotational shaft 400 and the inner circumferential surface of the auxiliary bearing is greater than an abnormality threshold.</p> |
