The present invention relates to an RGP lens for loss prevention and a manufacturing method thereof. The RGP lens comprises a lens body mounted on the eyeball of a user; a loss prevention identifying layer arranged on part of the outer surface of the lens body, and formed of a variable pigment which has a color disappeared by the temperature of eyeball or appeared when it is escaped from an effect on the temperature of the eyeball; and a skin layer arranged on the outer surface of the lens body having the loss prevention identifying layer, and integrated with the lens body. The present invention can have discrimination for loss prevention using the variable pigment which has the color disappeared by the temperature of the eyeball or appeared when it is escaped from an effect on the temperature of the eyeball, such as a room temperature. The RGP lens is harmless to humans and has excellent durability even through using the variable pigment. Also, the RGP lens remarkably improves the discrimination for loss prevention. |
