The compressor (10) has a reservoir (12) to receive compressed air, and a pump unit (14) for producing compressed air. A support structure (18) is secured at the reservoir, and a plastic covering (22) for the pump unit encloses alternately in one of two positions. The covering is connected to an assembly board (26) by a joint i.e. screw (28). The assembly board is releasably secured at the support structure. The covering is swingable around a rotational axis (x) between the positions and linked with a bracket.
