Cosmetic composition comprises 15-50 (preferably 20-40) wt.% of dihydroxyacetone. Independent claims are included for: (1) use of the cosmetic composition in combination with a composition, which is free of dihydroxyacetone to obtain autobronzant; (2) preparing the autobronzant composition, comprising sampling a dose of composition, which is free of dihydroxyacetone and then adding 1-3 drops or 0.03-0.09 g of composition and performing extemporaneous mixing process; and (3) artificially coloring the skin, providing a natural tan without sun and providing good radiant complexion, comprising applying the composition on the concentrated zone.
