The cassette has a case (20) ensuring a mechanical protection of an ionizing radiation digital detector (5) and provided in form of a flat panel. The case comprises a parallelepiped shape with two larger surfaces that are parallel to the panel. One of the surfaces is penetrated by the ionizing radiation. The case includes an envelope (27) formed from a mechanical piece part that forms five surfaces (21-25) with parallelepiped shape, where the envelope is covered with a film. A stopper (28) seals a sixth parallelepiped shaped surface (26).
