A motion data based image acquisition method for four dimensional (4D) film screening and a system for generating motion data using a four-axes joystick based on the same, according to an embodiment of the present invention, provide an effect of quickly and easily generating the motion data due to the joystick, which looks similar to a motion platform, using image data for 4D film screening. Further, by adjusting values related to the motion platform for the motion data collected by the 4-axes joystick, the image acquisition method and the system of the present invention can be applied to various motion platforms. In addition, a structure for preventing a damage to the 4-axes joystick due to the imbalance of power for each axis of the joystick can be provided.
