A display apparatus and an information display method thereof are provided to display images provided from a plurality of video providing apparatuses on one screen, thereby enabling a user to easily recognize which video providing apparatus provides video and what video is provided by the video providing apparatus. An input unit(110) generates a signal corresponding to a key that a user inputs. A remote controller in which key buttons are equipped controls the operation of a display apparatus(100). A connection unit(120) physically, electrically and signally connects the display apparatus with external video providing apparatuses. An HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) terminal and a DVI(Digital Video Interface) terminal are connected to the external video providing apparatus. A component video terminal is connected to a DVD(Digital Video Disk), a digital broadcasting receiver, and a home theater. A sound output unit(140) outputs an audio signal through a speaker in an audible sound state. |
