Disclosed is an integrated alternative energy roofing panel. The disclosure notes that present solar hot water systems are unitary in function whereas the present integrated alternative energy roofing panel permits use of interchangeable components with multiple functions. The integrated alternative energy roofing panel comprises a plurality of solar concentrator tubes (22); a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs); a structural frame and a working fluid manifold (28). The plurality of solar concentrator tubes (22) are interconnected with a transparent web to form a joined plate. The plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) are embedded in the web. The structural frame includes upper (24a) and lower (24b) frame elements which constrain the solar concentrator tubes (22). The working fluid manifold (28) attaches to the frame elements (24a, 24b) and the working fluid manifold (28) is operatively in contact with the plurality of solar concentrator tubes (22) for transferring heat from the tubes (22).
