PURPOSE: An individual content authentication method for an offline multimedia device and a charging method thereof are provided to individually manage the sales and the charging of a piece of content, not as a package, to an offline device. CONSTITUTION: The distributed content package is input to an offline multimedia device (110). In order to purchase the entire package or a certain piece of content, the desired content is selected in the offline multimedia device through a certain input unit, and the content selection result is generated as a quick response code to request authentication to an authentication control server (120). The generated quick response code is displayed on a display connected to the offline multimedia device, and the displayed quick response code is read using a reader. The read data is sent to the authentication control server from the reader (130, 140). The authentication control server which receives the quick response code verifies the content of the quick response code, checks the charging details, generates an authentication code, and sends the code to the reader (150, 160, 170). The received authentication code is input to the offline multimedia device through a certain input unit (180). The offline multimedia device verifies the received authentication code, and the authentication process is completed (190).
