Measurement method for object linear displacement involves at least two measurements of distance to the object by a laser range finder. The sight line of the range finder is directed to the flat surface rigidly fixed with the object, the surface is chosen or placed at the object so that it crosses the range finder sight line and the object displacement direction line, then the range finder is calibrated, difference of distances before and after the range finder displacement is defined, calibration constant is calculated according to the formula K=A/D where A stands for the range finder displacement, D - difference of distances before and after the range finder displacement. Displacement of the object is measured with its value being determined according to the formula B=K(R-R), where Rand Rrespectively are the previous and the following distances to the object.EFFECT: expanded application range and simplified measurement result processing in case sight line and object displacement direction do not coincide.2 cl, 2 dwg |
