The present invention relates to an apparatus for high temperature annealing of an electrical steel sheet coil. The apparatus for high temperature annealing of a coil around which an electrical steel sheet is wound includes a supporting unit that supports the coil; an atmosphere gas piping that is disposed between the coil and the supporting unit; an upper plate that is positioned above the coil; and an inner cover that covers the supporting unit, the atmosphere gas piping, and the upper plate. In the apparatus for high temperature annealing of an electrical steel sheet coil disclosed herein, multiple holes are formed in the upper plate.
