The present invention relates to a bottom plate segment and a shield construction method using the same, and, more specifically, to a bottom plate segment provided for a segment ring which is used for a shield construction for building a tunnel and comprises a plurality of segments for installing rails to transport construction materials and excavated materials. The bottom plate segment, which forms the bottom part of an assembled segment ring, has a flange which integrally extended from one end selected from both ends in contact with other segments to form the segment ring to replace a part of the other segments; a lower surface in an arc shape to form a circle together with other segments; a flat paving deck formed on each edge of the upper side; an installation passage that is open to the upper side to install a drainage channel and a ground branch line; and a rail deck for installing rails along each edge of the installation passage. A shield construction method using the bottom plate segment can omit an existing floor construction for installing rails, reduce the period of construction by reducing a floor construction process after the removal of rails, and improve work efficiency by reducing construction costs. |
