FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sliding element, particularly, to piston ring with coating on at least one sliding surface which in the direction from inside to outside consists of an adhesive layer (10), a metal-containing (preferably tungsten-containing) DLC-layer (12) and a DLC-layer containing no metal (14).
