FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: propulsor of snow mobile is made in the form of two ski where on the running surface of the said ski notches are made providing ski movement in one direction. Each ski is located at one side snow mobile frame and installed on at least two L-shaped brackets at each side. Each bracket is made capable of radial rotation and installed by its long end on shaft where chain transmission sprocket is installed. The brackets at each side are located diametrically opposite to similar brackets at the other side. Shaft with sprocket is located on frame. The second end of each bracket is connected with mating place of corresponding ski installed with possibility to perform flat-parallel motion in the plane parallel to vertical plane of snow mobile. Sprockets of chain transmission installed on shafts of brackets are interconnected by chain transmission. Gear ratio of the said transmission is selected equal to one. Rotating shaft of one of brackets is connected with driving sprocket of chain transmission. During driving the main sprocket is rotated, preferably using chain transmission, successive alternate interaction of running surface of each ski with supporting surface for snow mobile movement covered with snow is provided by insertion of the said ski into snow, predominantly in parallel to supporting surface, axial movement of the said ski in snow relative to snow mobile, and ski removal from snow. In this process, snow mobile coasting is provided by means of taking both ski out of contact with supporting surface.EFFECT: decrease in dimensions and better sliding of snow mobile.2 dwg |
