FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely cardiosurgery for stabilising the osteoporotic sternum following median sternal incision. A method involves a process of Z-sutures in the sternum with using a wire suture material. The process of sutures involves the sternum with a following suture overlapping a part of a previous one, leaving wound edges uncombined until the following suturing. The wound edges are combined, and each following suture is pulled out separately with twisting the similar wire sutures.EFFECT: method enables preventing the suture cutting of the osteoporotic sternum, reducing a risk of wound disruption after the sternal closure.2 ex, 6 dwg |
