PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate which efficiently radiates heat generated by a semiconductor light emitting element, for example, an LED, and to provide an LED unit and the substrate and a lighting device including the LED unit.SOLUTION: A substrate comprises: a base 11 formed by a high heat conductive resin; and multiple electrodes 21 provided on the base 11. The electrodes 21 are formed by copper plates or copper alloy plates. Predetermined spaces are respectively provided at areas between the electrodes 21.
