PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for generating a multi-dimensional constellation for digital data modulation accompanied by high-grade modulation diversity, regarding digital data communication, a transmission and reception method of data based on such a constellation, and a corresponding device.SOLUTION: It is achieved by considering only a multi-dimensional rotation matrix for which all elements on a main diagonal line have a first absolute value and the other elements have a second absolute value which is not zero. In this method, the multi-dimentional rotation matrix is generated so as to have only one independent parameter and a structure as regular as possible. The independent parameter is set so as to minimize the possibility of errors for various constellation sizes.
