PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having a lid allowing one-touch opening and closing by simply pressing the lid which prevents reliably unintended opening resulting from detachment of engagement between an opening/closing operation member due to elastic deformation of the opening/closing operation member and opening of the lid by a wrong operation.SOLUTION: A container consists of a container body having an opening in the upper part and a lid. The container body and the lid are joined together in their end hinge part in a rotatable way, and an opening spring is arranged in the vicinity of the hinge part. An engagement claw and a push rib are provided on the inner surface side of the lid. A rotor composed of a claw part, a rotary protrusion and a spring part is provided inside the container body. When the lid is closed, a rotary pawl part is engaged in the engagement claw, and, when the lid is pressed, the push rib presses the rotary protrusion to release the engagement of the claw part and the engagement claw. When the lid is pressed for release, the return rapidity of the spring part of the rotor is set to be smaller than the return rapidity of the opening spring. |
