摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of discriminating failure of a magnetic sensor with simple configurations.SOLUTION: A torque sensor 101 as a detection device includes magnetic sensors 41 and 42 including a magnetic detection element for output, a magnetic detection element for reference and comparator. Magnetic detection elements 411 and 421 for output detect passing magnetic flux density, and primarily output it as a temporary detection value. Magnetic detection elements 412 and 422 for reference detect the passing magnetic flux density, and primarily output it as a reference value. Comparators 51 and 52 calculate a detection deviation as a difference between the temporary detection value and the reference value, and when the detection deviation is equal to or less than a predetermined deviation threshold, secondarily output the temporary detection value as a formal detection value to an ECU 6, and when the detection deviation is more than the predetermined deviation threshold, secondarily output an abnormality determination signal to the ECU 6. Thus, it is possible to discriminate the failure of the magnetic sensor in the torque sensor 101. Therefore, it is unnecessary for the ECU 6 to perform determination processing, and it is possible to reduce the arithmetic load of the ECU 6.</p>
