PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner recovery device capable of effectively using a space in the device by improving space efficiency in a waste toner recovery container.SOLUTION: The waste toner recovery device includes a waste toner storage chamber 71 storing waste toner, a screw 73 conveying the waste toner in a direction along a predetermined direction A1, a waste toner receiving part 72 receiving the waste toner, a waste toner detection sensor 90 arranged between a waste toner receiving port 72B and a second inner wall 71b in the waste toner storage chamber 71, and a waste toner conveyance control part 78 controlling the rotation direction and base rotation time of the screw 73. The waste toner conveyance control part 78 sets the base rotation time to a time or longer required for conveying the waste toner from the waste toner receiving port 72B to an end point EP set between the waste toner detection sensor 90 and the second inner wall 71b in the predetermined direction A1 and rotates the screw 73 in a forward direction and a reverse direction only for the base rotation time, respectively. |
