摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a loss caused by an eddy current in a coil conductive wire, and to prevent an eddy current generated in a part in a slot of a conductive wire from flowing to a cover member of a coil end part as a circulating current.SOLUTION: A rectangular conductive wire 1 is employed as a coil conductive wire for a rotary electric machine configured by covering, with a conductive cover member 16, a periphery of a strand assembly 18 configured by bundling a plurality of strands which are insulation-covered, respectively. Slits 17a, 17b are provided along a conductive wire length direction in the cover member 16 forming a conductive wire side surface which a magnetic flux from teeth of a stator for the rotary electric machine crosses when the rectangular conductive wire 1 is wound around the tooth. The slits 17a, 17b are turned around from an inner circumferential side of a coil body to an outer circumferential side thereof or reversely in a turning part 32 in a coil end part 26 of the coil body formed of the rectangular conductive wire 1.
