PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric power conversion device that can reduce a thermal interference between a power module at an upstream side of cooling air flow and a power module at a downstream side, and can suppress air from directly contacting with the power module at the downstream side.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion device comprises: a plurality of power modules; a base part in which the plurality of power modules are arranged; a heat sink having a plurality of radiation fins that cool the plurality of power modules via the base part; and a blow part that blows cool air between the plurality of radiation fins along an arrangement direction of the plurality of power modules. The base part is formed in a step shape so as to have a higher height along a blow direction of the cool air and has an opening at a step part.
