PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention device which makes an adhesive force of an adhesive member as large as possible for the upper surface of furniture while preventing to the utmost collapse of materials of the adhesive member caused by an excessive compressive force.SOLUTION: The overturn prevention device includes: a first pressurizing member 5 that has a pressurizing face for pressurizing the upper face of furniture; a prop erected on the first pressurizing member 5; a second pressurizing member that has a pressurizing face for pressurizing a ceiling face and that is fixed on the prop; and a jack mechanism that generates a propping force vertically between the first pressurizing member 5 and the second pressurizing member. A recessed part 16 housing an adhesive member 15 is formed on a pressurizing face 14 of the first pressurizing member 5. On the adhesive member 15, there is formed a crush margin 17 that is crushed when the first pressurizing member 5 pressurizes the upper face of furniture. In the recessed part 16, a relief margin 18 is secured in which a part of the adhesive member 15 escapes when the crush margin 17 is crushed. |
