A fixing device for vehicle doors, comprising a door lock striker, a fixed wedge, and a movable wedge. The fixed wedge has a pair of sloping surfaces that are relatively movable relative to the door lock striker, at a position interposing the door lock striker therebetween. The movable wedge has a pair of sloping surfaces arranged at a position interposing the door lock striker therebetween, and is impelled such that each sloping surface is pushed onto the corresponding sloping surface of the fixed wedge. The door lock striker comprises a leg section. The movable wedge comprises a pair of wedge bodies forming the pair of sloping surfaces in the movable wedge, and a connection section that connects the wedge bodies at the rear end sections of the wedge bodies which are pressed towards the fixed wedge and retract. The connection section has an arch shape that protrudes in the standing direction of the leg section.
