An apparatus (3) for supplying an internal combustion engine (1) with a compressed air charge. The apparatus (1) comprises a first compressing device, for example a turbocharger (5), and a second compressing device, for example an electric supercharger (9). The second compressing device (9) is downstream of the first compressing device (5). A part, for example the bearing assembly (16), of the second compressing device (9) is thermally shielded from the heat of the compressed air charge by a labyrinth seal (41). |
