This bioinformation measurement device detects a signal representing bioinformation from a fingertip using a built-in sensor (S1). From the signal detected by the built-in sensor, a first perfusion index and first bioinformation other than same are acquired (S2, S3). A determination of whether or not the first perfusion index is at or above a first threshold is made (S4). When the first perfusion index is at or above the first threshold, display of the first bioinformation on the display unit is allowed (S5). On the other hand, when the first perfusion index is less than the first threshold, notification is made to the effect that an external sensor, which is lighter than the device body and is connected as a separate body so as to allow communication with the device body, should be used (S6).
