The tool (10) has a spindle neck outwardly protruding from a housing (12). A protective cover (18) is adjustably held on the spindle neck by using a clamping portion. Fuse elements are cooperated together at an actuator (20) and the clamping portion in each working position by positively locking the protective cover at the spindle neck movable in an axial retaining element on the spindle neck, and releasing activation of the actuator and adjusting the actuator into release position in which decrease of the spindle neck is enabled.
