摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a system to rapidly drive a device through touch input in a low power mode which turns off the display of the device and a method thereof and, more specifically, to a system to drive a device and a method thereof capable of minimizing power consumption with only a touch input in the low power mode which turns off the display and rapidly performs the unlocking of the device, system control, or application operation. The present invention executes a low power algorithm which minimizes an algorithm to analyze the touch input of a user; limits a valid touch area of a touch panel as a part of an area of the panel; minimizes the number of scans for the valid touch area of the touch panel; or minimizes the power consumption in the low power algorithm by changing a touch input method in a general mode and the low power mode. The present invention enables a user to set a private touch input to operate a specific application in the low power mode or increase a recognition rate for the touch input by storing information to an inputted touch input pattern of the user and store the pattern types for specific touch input in a database.</p>
