<p>The present invention relates to a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device using the same, capable of performing a low power operation and a low cost manufacturing process while using a small number of light sources and reducing the size of a light guide plate, and obtaining high brightness and high image quality. The backlight unit according to the present invention comprises: a bottom case which has a bottom surface and a wall which is formed by being extended from the edge of the bottom surface; a supporter which is formed with a preset width and is formed on the bottom surface along one side of the wall; and the light guide plate which is arranged in a receiving space formed in the lateral direction of the supporter on the bottom surface.</p> |
