The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for transceiving a security message of a vehicle network. The present invention provides the apparatus for transceiving the security message of the vehicle network, which includes at least two electronic control units (ECUs). A first ECU among the ECUs includes: a random number generating unit for generating random numbers as many as the number of bits of second data to input the second data, which is to be encoded among first data to be transmitted to a second ECU among the ECUs, to a first table; a table creating unit for creating a second table by inputting the second data into an established position of the first table in preset order using the generated random number; an encoding unit for encoding the generated random number; and a communication unit for transmitting the second table and the encoded random number to the second ECU.
