Abstract An interface device for converting movement into signals readable by a computational device includes three mutually orthogonal axes with a spring loaded biasing assembly arranged to bias the orthogonal axes to a resting position. Movement decomposition assemblies are provided that correspond to each of the mutually orthogonal axes. The movement decomposition assemblies are arranged to sense respective orthogonal angular displacement components of said movement in response to displacement of one or more of the axes from the resting position. Each of the movement decomposition assemblies includes a sensor arranged to translate along its corresponding axis to thereby sense a corresponding orthogonal linear displacement component of the movement. 2438e 24 Figure 1 |
