A three-phase rectifier converts a three-phase AC power supplied from a three-phase AC power supply to a DC power and comprises a full-wave rectifier circuit, a bidirectional switch circuit, and a control means. The full-wave rectifier circuit rectifies the three-phase AC power to a DC power. The bidirectional switch circuit turns on/off the input of each phase input from the three-phase AC power supply to the full-wave rectifier circuit. The control means detects the voltage of each phase of the three-phase AC power supply, generates, based on the detected voltage of each phase, a switching pattern of each phase used for turning on/off the bidirectional switch circuit, and controls the switching of the bidirectional switch circuit on the basis of the generated switching pattern. |
