PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device incorporating a touch panel function, which can perform calibration of intersection capacitance efficiently.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid-crystal display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a plurality of pixels arranged in matrix. The second substrate has a detection electrode of a touch panel, and each of the pixels has a pixel electrode and a counter electrode. The counter electrode is divided into a plurality of blocks. The counter electrodes of the divided blocks are commonly provided on the respective pixels of a plurality of continuous display lines, and double as scan electrodes of the touch panel. The liquid crystal display device further comprises: a calibration capacitive element provided for each of the detection electrodes and having one end connected to each of the detection electrodes; and means supplying a calibration voltage to the other end of each of the calibration capacitive elements in touch position detection processing. |
