PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to sufficiently prevent the gradation deviation of each pixel circuit in a conventional display device.SOLUTION: A pixel circuit includes: a light emission element EL; a drive transistor M1 for controlling current amounts to be supplied from first power supply wiring to the light emission element EL in accordance with a pixel voltage; a capacity CST whose one end is connected to second power supply wiring, and whose other end is connected to the drive transistor M1 for holding a pixel voltage VDATA; a first switch transistor M2 for switching whether to apply the pixel voltage to be applied via a data signal line to the capacity CST; and a second switch transistor M3 for switching whether to short-circuit the first power supply wiring and the second power supply wiring. The first power supply wiring and the second power supply wiring are separated in a period in which the pixel voltage VDATA is charged in the capacity CST, and the first power supply wiring and the second power supply wiring are short-circuited in a period in which the drive transistor M1 is operated on the basis of the pixel voltage VDATA. |
